How to collect a urine specimen at home:
If you trust that the person you want to test is honest then please follow these steps. Remove all liquid: hand soap, cleaning supplies; tape water faucets, bathtub, sink, and shower stall, put a bluing agent-tidy bowl- in toilet water, and tank. Have the person empty all contents from pockets, check, to be sure, they are not wearing a devise: raise their shirt and lower their pants to show genitals; hand them the urine cup and explain to urinate into the cup-show the amount you want-like ½ a cup. Explain to open the door as soon as they are finished. Once they hand you the cup, stay in the bathroom with them, and open the instant testing device cassette. Remove the cap from the end of the cassette. Submerge the tabs (e.g., litmus paper) into the urine until you see the urine entering the test result slots. DO NOT put the entire cassette into the urine, only the tabs go into the urine. Read the results when all the slots have at least one line next to the (C) control line. Absence of a line means the specimen is positive for that substance. If there is no line next to the C-return the cassette to ADAT. We will issue you a new kit.
